Our hospital is open Monday, Tuesdsay and Thursday 9:00am-8:00pm, Wednesday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. On Saturdays we are open from 9:00am until 3:00pm. The clinic is closed on Sunday. 2. Do I need to have an appointment? Yes, patients are seen by appointment. Of course, we accept emergencies at our clinic -- if you have an emergency with your pet, please call ahead before heading down.
We accept cash, check, Visa, debit cards, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Care Credit. 4. Can I make payments? Sorry, we are unable to extend credit for your pet's visit or when purchasing products. Payment is required at the time of service. Our only form of payment plan is through Care Credit which we do recommend. Please call to inquire about Care Credit. 5. At what age can I have my pet spayed or neutered? Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 5-6 months of age. Your pet is given a pre-surgical exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is highly recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia, which should be done prior to your pet's surgical date. 6. What is pre-anesthetic blood screening? This is a recommended blood screening which is run prior to, or in emergency situations, on the the day of surgery. It tests the organ functions and blood counts of your pet. Additonal tests are available. Pre-anesthetic blood screening is performed to make sure your pet is healthy enough to undergo surgery. 7. How long do the sutures stay in after my pet's surgery? Procedures involving sutures require them to be removed on average 10-14 days following the surgery. Not all surgeries will have removable sutures some will be self-disolving, (which will not require a suture removal appointment). 8. Is it a good idea to let my pet have at least one litter? No, there is no advantage to letting your pet have one litter. However there are plenty of advantages to having you pet spayed or neutered. These advantages include decreasing the chances of breast tumors later in life, decreasing the chance of cystic ovaries and uterine infections later in life, decreasing the desire to roam the neighborhood, decreasing the incidence of prostate cancer later in life, helping prevent spraying and marking, and also decreases the surplus of unwanted puppies and kittens. 9. Do you board pets? We provide supervision in our daily patient care facility. We have space for both dogs and cats. Pets are required to be current on all required vaccinations and current on flea and tick control. Please be advised that we require a temprement evaluation prior to your pet's stay. Sorry, we cannot aceept puppies, kittens nor senior pets. Our dog kennels are all indoor. The dogs are walked at least 3-4 times daily while they are with us. We also have outdoor runs located in our gated backyard. The feline overnight guests are housed in a separate area away from the dogs. Blankets and food are provided at no additional charge, but you are always welcome to bring your own.
