June 2010

  •  Dr. Gerald Cole, owner of two cats, "Flocko" and "Lizzie," just completed an 8-hour bike ride of almost 2000 feet in efforts to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The event raised over $30,000,000.00 thanks to the generous support of thousands of people, including Dr. John DeVerna and the Three Village Veterinary Hospital.
  • Congratulations to Erin, one of our technicians, and her husband Mike.  They are expecting their first child who is due in August.  Lauren, our hospital manager, along with the help of other friends and family, hosted a "surprise" baby shower in her honor, although we think she knew.  The doctors and staff at Three Village Veterinary Hospital wish her well in her exciting year ahead.May 2010
  • Dr. Cintron and Lauren Hartmann, our technician manager, completed another successful Career Day at William Sidney Mount Elementary School in Stony Brook.  Both Dr. Cintron and Lauren brought with them, a few of our furry friends and demonstrated an entire exam and even applied bandages to the kids!  Check out our Photo Album, "In The Community" to see a handful of pictures.

  • Katie Hall, our office manager, graduated with her Bachelor's of Science degree in Professional Communications with a Journalism concentration from Farmingdale State College on May 16, 2010.

  • Staff Sergeant Vinicio A. Andino, a long time client and friend of the Veterinary Hospital, just earned his Bachelor's of Science in nursing from Stony Brook University.  We wish him and his family well as they relocate to Washington State.

  • Caralyn Schwartz, one of our veterinary technicians, graduated on May 20, 2010, with a Bachelor's of Science in Marine Vertebrate Biology from Stony Brook University, Southampton Campus.  She will pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian at University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland beginning in September 2010.
